Ross & Leah (Emma and Deacon too!!)

What a summer we have had. It all started off nice and slow and then it rained…and rained…and rained. I didn’t think I would ever get to see the sun again We left for a week to get away from the rain and went to Colorado. It was a great time. We got to go white water rafting, to the spa and the boys got to play golf!!  

When we got back we had some friends, the Smiths, move in with us with their kiddos. We had a blast. Each night we had monkeys jumping on the bed, tons of diapers in the trash cans, and lots of naps. Emma had a brother and sister for a few weeks until they moved into their rent house. We miss them immensly, but were glad we shared that time together.

Lately we have been doing lots of swimming, shopping, and just hanging out. Ross is about to go on a work trip to California. That means I get to go spend time with my parents for the week.

We have been so blessed this summer. It has been busy, but in a good way. We have spent precious moments with friends and family…two of the most important things in life. I can’t wait to see what August has in store for us!!

This is Emma with her very first purse. Mimi (her great grandmother) made it especially for her with a little bear that fits inside. Emma loves carrying it around the house. She opens it and takes the bear out and then puts it right back in. Who knew?? Thank you Mimi for making Emma her first purse.
